The Hubs and I began celebrating Valentines on Thursday night. Why? Because we're smart people. Let me begin by saying that I feel like I've just birthed another child. Four years of hard labor that culminated into a whole lot of pain and stress to say the least. I've done it! I have successfully completed the C25K running program! My greatest sense of accomplishment came yesterday when I actually ran jogged a full 5K. I did it somewhere around 36 minutes. Not exactly a speed demon, but not bad. I can only get better. And...I may actually enjoy running. Maybe? Eventually? I might get there. My first race is on July 5th. Application submitted. Nikki died last night in her sleep. I was consoling a very sad 10 year old boy this morning. I assured him that he did nothing wrong and took very good care of her, but hamsters just don't live very long. He is considering if he wants to buy a new hamster to replace her.
