Summer Fun Midterms

Well we're half way through the summer and we've checked some things off our list.

The ICE CREAM MAN came. And....they're back in the tub.

FIRE

Roasting marshmallows again. Again and again....

I used to like eating  S'mores. I liked eating S'mores up until the time I got my fire pit thing-y for Mother's Day a few years ago. There really can be too much of a good thing? So this year I've tried to mix it up a bit by using Chocolate and Cinnamon Graham Crackers and all types of chocolate like Peanut Butter Cups and Mint Patties. Ugh! If I'm going to ingest extra calories and fat I'm going to make it good and eat something like...a delicious PIE! Unfortunately, if you have kids, you know I would never get away with eating pie or let's say... a chocolate cake donut without sharing - no matter how much they like eating the S'mores. And let's face it; they don't like eating the stuff either, it's just fun to make.

As for me: I just got back from my 20 Year HS Reunion, Camping in Island Park with an outing to the Playmill Theater in West Yellowstone, and had yet another birthday - I'm still in my thirties. Seriously... 

Diary of a Birthday Boy

February 4, 2010

Today I turned 4 years old! 

I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs and put on my party hat.

Mom took me to Three Little Monkeys for story time and a craft. I made a "Heart Guy".

This is Zoe. I bought her today with the birthday money I got from my Great Nanny and Grandma Guymon. I've been wanting her for a long time.

Mom bought me lunch at the Bun Basket again. I love it there!

Then we went to "Toys For Us"!!! Everyone wished me happy birthday. I got this great balloon and a birthday crown! I also had $3 gift card to spend on whatever I wanted! I got a tree frog and a ring pop! I had a really fun morning!

Mom made me take a nap but it was hard to sleep because I was so excited for my Diego birthday party that night.

Nap time was over and it was time to go with my family to Chuck E. Cheese!!!!

My party still wasn't over....

We went back home for some cake and ice cream.

My very favorite part of the day was opening presents!

I got that police helicopter I wanted! Wahoo! 
I also got a policeman on a motorcycle! My brother gave me a package of Oreos! 

Today was so much fun!! I loved my birthday! Now it's time to go to sleep.
