RIP Nikki the Hamster

Nikki died last night in her sleep. I was consoling a very sad 10 year old boy this morning. I assured him that he did nothing wrong and took very good care of her, but hamsters just don't live very long. He is considering if he wants to buy a new hamster to replace her. I hope he doesn't come home from school today to tell me he's decided to get a dog instead.

Happy Anniversary

Today's the day....

Married 12 years!

Happy anniversary Honey!

I was tricked. He told me he was in AZ for Christmas. He showed up at the Idaho Falls temple on Christmas Eve dressed as Santa Claus. He asked me to marry him. When I FINALLY realized that he wasn't some random guy in a red suit (which was only AFTER he pulled off the beard and got down on one knee *duh*)...I said, YES!

Valentines

A dozen red roses, dinner at Bucca Di Beppo, and lots of chocolate. That's what my Valentine gave to me.

Apothecary...what?

I'm dreaming of apothecary jars full of lemons...

I would LOVE to own a large apothecary jar or two. 

They are cool. 

You can fill them with whatever you can think of. What a great way to celebrate changing seasons or holidays! Want to add a beachy look to your home? Fill it with sand and sea shells!


If I had one today...I'd fill it with lemons. 


Lemons are bright and fresh and cheery! Who doesn't want that around  during a long winter.

Diary of a Birthday Boy

Today I turned 4 years old! 

I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs and put on my party hat.

Mom took me to Three Little Monkeys for story time and a craft. I made a "Heart Guy".

This is Zoe. I bought her today with the birthday money I got from my Great Nanny and Grandma Guymon. I've been wanting her for a long time.

Mom bought me lunch at the Bun Basket again. I love it there!

Then we went to "Toys For Us"!!! Everyone wished me happy birthday. I got this great balloon and a birthday crown! I also had $3 gift card to spend on whatever I wanted! I got a tree frog and a ring pop! I had a really fun morning!

Mom made me take a nap but it was hard to sleep because I was so excited for my Diego birthday party that night.

Nap time was over and it was time to go with my family to Chuck E. Cheese!!!!

My party still wasn't over....

We went back home for some cake and ice cream.

My very favorite part of the day was opening presents!

I got that police helicopter I wanted! Wahoo! 
I also got a policeman on a motorcycle! My brother gave me a package of Oreos! 

Today was so much fun!! I loved my birthday! Now it's time to go to sleep.
